Subject: The Flea and the Battle of Good vs Evil
Ah, what would be of the world without the philosopher. It would be a
meaningless world, even more meaningless than it is now. Anyway my dog
and the never ending fight against the fleas inspired me to write this
piece.

What is the flea? It sure sounds like a soulless bloodsucker. My dog
wants to be happy. He likes to play without ever harming anyone. Mind
you, he's a chihuahua, so he ain't not hunting dog. A hunting dog
would deserve such punishment (by merit of his killing instincts).
Then the flea is surely an evil species.

How about the ant, the shark, the SUV driver? Are they evil or just
act their animal instinct? The ant is both a cooperative species and a
killer. It can wage war and it can build great kingdoms, just like
us.

And who passing judgement on us anyway? Are we above judgement is our
destruction of the environment? Some of us ride a bike just to be
safe.

Just to be sure: All bloodsuckers are evil and predators are... They
just are.

Sorry but there's only two sides: Dog or Flea.

Dog is our best friend. Flea is enemy of our best friend.

Given what you said below,
about there being only two sides,
they're either dogs or fleas.

Sounds as if it is both dog and flea.

It appears as though you are.
My species simply assimilates those
who have a technology worth assimilating.
Otherwise we ignore them, typically.

You and your dog apparently are not
above judgement. Your destruction of
the environment you appear to not be
above either. It would seam as tho
you are both both dog and flea.

Yet you say that you are not safe.
Therefore, you are not riding a bike
just to be safe. Riding a bike can be dangerous.

Since you are a predator
as is your dog, you are both evil
according to your own logic.

Then you are, basically, both fleas.

Thanks for clearing that up.

I hoped that the word about "bloodsucker" would remind you of
