Catholic Communion is a deliberately lame ritual... Since I know this to be
true, what real power does it have over me? Calling communion a deliberately
lame ritual is not contempt for communion if I have a solid general
understanding of what is a ritual which I did have a one time but... there
is no money in possessing this particular skill set. The Catholic Church
wanted to be big and it accomplished this fact with communion... it doesn't
make a lot of sense but there you have it... The last supper has Jesus
brooding over his impeding death and it becomes the most sacred ritual in
Catholicism. (shrug) Weird, right. I've known that communion was a
deliberately lame ritual for quite some time now but nothing could have
quite prepared me for the method by which I was terminated from my last
place of employment. Get this, I wasn't fired and I didn't quit... My
catholic boss excommunicated me from the jobsite... I can't stand that
guy... He is, by far, the biggest dork I've ever met in my life.

Sounds like he is a true Christian.
And like any true Christian he deserves to go to heaven - sooner
rather than later.

True christians say that they are true Jews... I suppose I can relate but
only because of the world's depravation... Thankfully, I always have the
option of living in the street... I know who is feeding and when at most of
the soup kitchens.
