I see wasted capital expenditures all around me and it is as if economists
are blind to the understanding of what is capitalism... It would certainly
be the case that we wouldn't be in the worst recession in 70 years if we
were actually capitalists... For example, why do we spend money to extend
the lives of children with cancer? Sure, building hospitals puts money into
the hands of construction workers and the hospitals puts money into the
pockets of oncologists but after the child dies, there is a zero return on
the capital investment... If you can think of a greater waste of capital, I
would sure like to here about it.

That is not capital, that is irony, instead.

As ye sow, so shall ye reap... Could someone please explain how I am a
burden to the taxpayers?... Is it because if I should happen to drop dead
near your doorstep, it would diminish the value of your property? Why
should I have pity on children with cancer? Your pity for them and pity in
general will ensure your own fate and mine as well.

Well - why spend any money at all on health, beyond inoculation and
bone fixing?
Why not just let the weak die to promote a stronger species?
Why not let all cancer patients die and while you are about it, cut of
their balls/ ovaries to stop them spreading their genes?
As for old people mince them all up for pig food.
Once these sort of problems are solved you can then start killing
people with poor eyes-sight, earring and other less catastrophic
deficiencies.
There's lots more besides. For example - why send more troops to
Afghanistan? Why not just nuke all the areas where terrorists are
hiding?
Why not just wipe clean the entire Pakistan Afghanistan border region.
We already have the nukes, and they are just going to waste!
You know it makes sense.

Are you referring here to what will happen under socialized medicine?

No he's referring to what happens in America if you don't have health
insurance and you get ill.

Quite the contrary. Socialised medicine can be accused of many things.
One is that it tends to spend far too much money on perpetuating old
people, diseased, disabled etc..
