What is a Miracle?

Jesus. What is the point in being the dictionary if I can't have control
over all the words? I am the dictionary in case you may have forgotten.
How does Jesus wrest control over the word 'miracle'? Well, it is like
this... Jesus says, 'I am the truth'... which should immediately elicit the
obvious and anticipated response of... 'Well, Jesus, if that is the case
then why do some people seem to believe that you can perform miracles?' The
question is rhetorical.

I've performed at least one miracle before. There are two types of
love, love of God and love of others. Believe it or not, love of God
is more important than loving others but they're both important and
extremely close to equal, practically synonymous for practical
purposes.
There are two things to be aware of. Love is more important than
miracles, in a sense, love is the real miracle.
Secondly, and this is a bit cynical, but supposedly the Devil can work
miracles too. Exempla gratis, if Bill Clinton walked on water it
would not make him Jesus Christ. Likewise, if Muhattma Ghandi
levitated it would not make him Holy Ghost crazy.

You forgot, love has three aspects. Love of God, Love of Others and
Love of Self.
You brought the Christian "whipping boy" or "scapegoat" into your
post. The Devil is a creation to take the heat, so to speak, when
disaster comes to children and innocents during war, famine, floods,
etc.
So, the Christians could be said to love the Devil for the heat he
takes. This is why they created "hell" in order to give this
"heatseeker" a home. A Convenient Truth indeed.

Hmm... I think what I'm trying to get at is the fact that the question is
rhetorical because... There was no real incentive for Jesus to dispel the
rumors that he could perform miracles and he had no control over it even if
there was incentive for him to do so.

I posted this based on the earlier discussion where people are asking if it
is possible for an atheist to become a saint... Well, I'll volunteer to
become a saint but that requires that atheists not only come to terms on
what is a miracle, atheists have to convince the Catholic Church that
miracles have been performed by atheists which can be traced to myself as
being the cause of... 'k? So, you let me know what I need to do to be more
saintly, and ya'll need to start cranking out miracles.

Love of God? Jonah did not love God, in fact, he seems to have really hated
Him... I keep waiting for you to say that God's love is unconditional but
since you haven't, I suppose I'll post separately.
