Rescued rat in Berkeley, needs help
RabbitEARS rescued a teeny, tiny baby hooded rat from the Berkeley shelter early this morning that was found at a local schoolyard. He is so young that he's being fed every two hours round the clock. Update
We are out and about the cage. 4 dark and one hooded white and fawn. Still loud, VERY active. This makes them 3 weeks? Hopefully in the next week or so I'll be able to sex them and separate. Thanks for listening.

Ratchel: 04/07 - 05/09
Yesterday, our most beloved rat, Ratchel, a gray, blazed huskey, died suddenly. She was out of the cage, exploring in the living room when she suddenly began dragging her hind legs. She pulled herself back under a cabinet and was gone within seconds, apparently having suffered a massive stroke. Ratchel was about 25 months old. She was the most... more »
