The first three days that Kunai lived in the house, Squads Seven, a.k.a.
The Jump, Wizard, and Zolo made him stay in the corner. He was only
allowed to come out to eat. Next he was allowed to sleep in the litter
box. The little scruff felt that this was a great promotion. He would
spend two hours in the box eating hay. Then he would just fall asleep
right here in the litter box. When he awoke he started eating hay
again. I think after looking at Jump, he thought to himself, "I need to
get bigger".
During playtime in the living room everyone chased him. Zolo was the
master of the head fake. Zolo would make this sudden head fake and
Kunai would fly into the kitchen.
After about 10 days the boys felt that Kunai has learned his manners.
Squads Seven officially accepted Kunai as they're trainee. He's learned
to jump up and down from the couch, and he's the first one up to get
carrots. At night when I give them greens in their home you can see
their order. The Jump sits up in the top, in the front, by the open
gate where the greens will be delivered. Also on the top on the far
side sits Jump's First Lieutenant, Zolo. Wizard sits one level below on
the mezzanine, and baby Kunai must sit down below in the litter box.
I'm sure when his status improves will be allowed to sit next to
Wizard. But for instance if Zolo happens to be using the litter box,
Kunai will wait for Zolo to go up for greens first before getting on the
ladder.
Kunai it is now a little more than 11 weeks old he has been fully
accepted by Squads Seven. I have some really neat pictures. I soon as
I transfer them from my Apple to my PC I will post some of them for you
to see. Just a warning to you. I felt that four rabbits would be 25%
more work than three rabbits. I think the workload is double, litter
pans and water dishes need to be changed twice as often. On the other
hand the joy of rabbits is up 200%. Four rabbits actually look like a
herd. When I opened the kitchen gate, they thunder across the floor and
leapt to the couch for their carrot. The sight of four rabbits
simultaneously leaping makes my heart leap as well. Like I said, I will
post some pictures. Stay Tuned!

This underlines the treasures that having a bonded set of rabbits gives.
I'm hugely envious! But very glad to have your reports. Please keep them up.
It also shows the lovely relationship your buns have with you.
Richard.
