Dear folks;

I just discovered that Carolyn's right cheek is swollen again. The Batrial
didn't help at all. The vet said her saliva duct might be blocked. It's
too late to call the vet so I'll have to do that tomorrow. Maybe he can
pick her up next Wednesday. It would be nice if the duct would drain of its
own accord but I doubt that would happen. It's already frustrating to
contemplate how much I've spent on that bunny . Hopefully, the vet can deal
with the blockage and spare Carolyn having to go in again for treatment. I
also hope for a quick fix as I'm on disability and going into debt.

Sincerely,

Sorry to hear about Carolyn having further problems Bruce. Sending her
get better/feel better vibes and to get this thing nipped in the bud
right away. Also, most of us know the debt part of the trips to the
vets,it is not a comforting thing.Carla Liza and Jodie.

Sorry to hear that Carolyn's cheek is swollen again.

I'm hoping with you that it goes down on its own.

the medicine is not magic. it takes time to work. she needs some
metacam now too. there is never really a quick fix for anything. she
might need to switch to another antibiotic too. having to wait till
someone days later can pick her up is not helping. when they need
care, they need it asap.. taxi?? call a vet tech. beg someone to come
and get her as soon as possible.. maybe the baytril will kick in
soon.. she might need further care... be warned.

Ditto from here. That is the difference with proper pet owners though
(not that you can really OWN a rabbit...), they're the ones with super
friendly relationships with their vets. Mine calls Holly the most
expensive rabbit in the world.

Hope Carolyn will be okay!
