Of course I remember you and your two gorgeous buns, so well loved and
so well tended.
Max and Harlie had lovely times in a beautiful garden. I remember the
pictures.
I know that nothing I can say can make it better -- but I want you to
know that I wish I could.
Please believe that your bond with Max will continue, even though he has
moved on to a higher plane. Yes, I really believe both of those things.
Look for signs from him! My much loved buns who left this plane have
*always* sent me a sign to let me know all was well with them.

For those of you who have lost buns recently my condolensces I feel
your pain and will remember all of them in my prayers.
It's been a terrible year Harley was diagnosed with a heart condition
and has been on heart meds but gradually she's deteriorated. I knew I
would lose Harley and was consoled that at least I still had Max for a
good few years. I spent so much time looking after Harlie I failed to
see Max was also ill until it was far too late.

Max was only 8 - he would've been 9 in March next year. We were
together since december 2001 - round about the time I first posted on
apr (and I am forever grateful for the advice and support by everyone
over the years).
It just hurts so much - I knew heartache was around the corner because
of Harlie - but losing Max has been absolutely terrible! Words cannot
express the grief I am going through at the moment at the loss of my
baby boy :'(

Buns hide their illnesses so well. Even experts can be deceived. I know
vets who missed early symptoms and desperately tried and failed to save
their own beloved buns!
Buns are so fragile, too, and can go downhill so quickly.
I am really sorry, Anthony.
I know Max's spirit is grateful to you for almost 9 golden years.
Someday you will meet again in the beautiful fields of clover near the
Rainbow Bridge.

enormously, and the members reaction was very sympathetic. It is my pleasure

Anthony, I was shocked to read that Max had made his journey to The
Bridge. I'm so sorry. The pain is unbearable as all of us
understand, who have loved and lost beloved buns. You have given
loving care of your buns so don't be hard on yourself.
