i used newtons homepathic indigestion and gas tonic and one for inflamation

i found mele at 5pm with two huge ballons in his gut. when i moved them back and forth gently i could HEAR the gas so loud. i started him on the regular things we do. fluids, baytril for good measure. metacam. regalan, fluids, simethicone. and a heating pad. i placed him nearby me on the couch and held tight. kept him very warm and comfy. get him to sleep. i gave six drops of the indigestion tonic. 2 drops inflamtion drops. indigestion one every hlaf hour. without fail!!! six drops. five pound bunny.. every hour 2 drops inflamation.. also 1 ml of olive oil per hour.. this must be kept up for hours. every hour i scratched his belly. not massaged. i rotate back and forth on his gut two side to side. not round and round. every hour. then let him sleep as much as possible. do not let up!!!!!! wake them up.. do it.... six hours it was mostly gone. then continue with the indigestions stuff every hour or so ish once it lets up and they are seeming more normal. continue with all regular treatment from vet till it is needed.. homepathics can be let up to farther and farther apart. use own reason. i stopped the homepathics by day two and am still doing regalan and fluids for several more days.. see your vet.... mele is great today..

I'm glad to hear that Mele is doing better. Gas is no laughing matter when
it comes to bunnies.

Sincerely,

Bruce Atchison - author of When a Man Loves a Rabbit and Deliverance from
Jericho. Both books are available at the www.bruceatchison.blogspot.com

Glad he is on the mend, Beth.
