Hi folks;
How many of us carry around our bunny(s) pictures around?
I have Gideon's picture in my pocket of my coat and I look at it when I'm
feeling especially frustrated at the "rat race" all around me. I can't
help but smile when I see those chocolate ice cream ears, the butterfly on
his nose, his cherry eyes and his long vanilla ice cream body stretched
out like he owns the world. Gideon is such a blessing in my life. Many
times I've been in the pit of dispare and he's helped me out. Many times
I've woken up all grumpy and frustrated at my neighbours with their junk
vehicles only to have Gideon do something goofy like shake his head and
tickle my feet with his long whiskers. All the hate and anger just melts
away when I'm petting him.
Yours,

Bruce Atchison, electronic music composer.

Please enquire about receiving a list of my 14 inexpensive cassette

*smile* that sounds vaguely familiar:) Although I don't carry their
pictures around because usually i don't have my purse with me. But I can
tell you that my husband and I left our wedding reception early because we
wanted to go home and be with the bunny. Due to immigration reasons we
couldn't have a honeymoon so were spending a queit weekend at home, so we
left early to go home to the bun and the dogs, so pez could hop around
because he had been in his cage all day because we got married!:) We even
took pictures of pez and us on the wedding day:) (he was our only bun at
the time).

Andrew kept a picture of Howie in the glove compartment for a while. But
that picture is now in a frame in our bedroom. It's one of the ones from the
website- the cute one of her sitting up on her hind legs in Andrew's
parents' yard.

I did, until the photo album I used fell apart. It was neat Lion King album,
BTW.
But anyway, I showed people photos of Joepie, and I also had photos of our
rats in it.
I understand what you mean, looking at a photo of Joepie is very therapeutic
to me :)
Especially when I'm at work, and it's hectic and chaotic.

I am known to "disappear" for a few minutes when things get too crazy - a few
minutes in the rabbitry with the buns is all it takes to get back on an even
keel. They do a good job of reminding you just what is important - and I guess
being "taken" on this business just isn't "that" important! The rest of the
property if great, the buns have a MUCH better home now, and this place will
eventually be what it should be - it will just take some time and patience.
I do carry a small photo album - originally it was supposed to just be for
pictures of the parents of the animals that were being shown. But it has
expanded immensely!! More pictures of the pets in there now than of anybunny!

Surprising how many people there are, even at the shows, that don't realize
that a rabbit can be littertrained and can make a great housepet

Hi everybody : ) I have this clear plastic photoholder keychain. On one side
there is a pic of my fiance,Bob,and I.On the other side,I keep a picture of my
Bosco Lop,who I lost last year.I still miss him so much, and it is a comfort to
just look at him every so often, especially,as you all have said, when I'm caught
up in some work related stress, or feeling depressed. Its silly, but it's a way
to always keep him close,I guess. As soon as I can find another of these
keychains,I'm sure I'll be carrying Junie & Jop around as well : )

I have a photo of each of my bunnies in my planner! People laugh when I pull
them out, but then they oooh and awwww at how cute they are. (Their pics are
on Marie Moyes' site, if you want to see them.)

Laurie was kind enough to scan in some photos I sent her of my late Harley.
Now I alternate between the four pictures of her as my computer background. I
also emailed copies of the pictures to my parents and friends. <g> Now we just
have to get Yoda to sit still long enough to get a recognizable picture of him.

I have Buttercup pics over my desk at work. Sometimes I have more pics of him
than of my human child! LOL! I'm the only one at my office to have a rabbit
as a pet.

I have Cocoa's pic posted at the Pet Value food store. The Rabbit club posts
their announcements under it. So when I want to see my baby, I go to the
back and look at him!

I always have several pictures of my "kids" with me in my wallet. My
folks that I call on across the country all tease me about it as many
have never heard of the concept of a litter box trained rabbit, much less
one that lives in the house. A few have friends that have them or have
had them in the house, but mostly they think it's cute. After all, they
are a lot less expensive than human kids without the need for a college
fund. LOL

I've got a baby picture album in my purse. It has bunnies on the cover and says
"Mom's Brag Book". Is that perfect or what?

Well, I don't carry them around but I do have more pictures of my bunnies on
the fridge than my kids! I have to make a point of being fair and making sure
I have kids pics too or I get comments from them and my hubby!

I have several picture collages that I made of the buns at my desk at work,
plus some smaller ones. BUt that's ok -- the woman who sits next to me raised
dogs (and has no children, too, just like me), and she has just as many
pictures of her dogs as I do my rabbits. So I'm in good company, I guess.
