We have two outdoor guinea pigs here in England, one male short-haired and
one female long-haired. They get on very well and thrive; they have a
heated, covered, solidly-built outdoor hutch and they get plenty of grass to
eat on our lawn.
Our male GP has started trimming the hair on our female, such that (all
over) she is getting a bit of a crew-cut! It isn't getting shorn down to the
skin, but it is certainly getting thoroughly trimmed.
Why is this happening?
Should we try to stop it?
How would we stop it?
Advice appreciated!
Thanks
