Yesterday was their designated birthdays. They both came with wrong birth
certificates from Marshalls Farm, so I had to guess at their real birthdays.
I just made it on the same day....Dec.17th. Jackie turned 4 and Mia turned
3.

Just wondering how our little buddy, Alvin, is making out with the others. Should be getting better or all ok by now. (?)
And to Steve: You mentioned and joked about a health problem that you had.
ie - your ferrets weren't biting because of that. Whatever was wrong, I

Introducing a new ferret - help needed

Hello people whonare still about. I was wondering if anyone can help. I have two ferrets. One about 4, female and called britney, and one who is 1, male called Justin. They get on great. Sleep and play together. I had just adopted a new male ferret who is about 2 called alvin. Before we got him we bought home some bedding of his, she took to immediately sleeping in it and what we thought was looking around the house for him.... more »

Nothing much to say except my 2 girls are healthy and doing fine. Time now for the hand feeding of warm gravy meal. Spoiled creatures. Then let them romp around the house for the evening. :-D Ps - one friend wrote me this morning and said HI to my squeaky creatures. I wrote him back and told him that they rarely squeak. Of the 5 ferrets I've owned over the years, two I still have, two died of old age and one died of a tumor. As my first ferret, Pogo, grew weaker, barely able to walk but doing his best because FERRETS NEVER GIVE UP ON LIFE, I called my mother who worked in hospice and asked for advise. Ferrets interact really well with other animals like dogs and cats. They will even play together. One thing about a ferret though. They are fearless. They don't know what Fear is. They will take on anything that tries to hurt them. If there is more then one ferret they will fight as a group. This is only in a situtation where they are threatened.... more »

Out of 3 ferrets there was one who loved bannans. A banna was cut into round slices and about 5 were placed on a saucer. This one ferret loved them and would even beg for it. The other two would not even eat the bannans lol.
