I love ferrets. I have never owned one but my friend had 3 of them. I
took care of them when she would go on vacation. They had the run of the
house. They had there own bedroom and all 3 lived inside a dresser. They
loved this dresser. It was full of old clothes and they would get under
them and sleep. These little animals are a joy to be around. They sleep
most of the day but you will know when they are up :-)

That sounds like my ferrets. They have the run of the house, and have a
3 drawer cupboard to sleep in. They have have some tubes and have taken
to sleeping in them recently.

They are possibly the best pet I have had, so entertining and funny,
especially when they get the waggy tails!

Thanks to both of you for the stories. I also have 2 girls. They stay in
the cage while I'm at work (to avoid mischief and accidents) but I let them
out once i get home. they also have their own bedroom and dresser to sleep
in...also each has a few other secret spots to hoard things and sleep in. I
love my ferrets, they are my family now.

Sometime they need the cage for their own protection especially when
your not around to kind of watch them.
