Here I am a man of peace, looking for a chance to live another day.
The world outside is a thing of beauty where people strive to be free.
I am one who believes that peace is at the core of humanity’s heart
and that we as a people have goodness in our souls.
We stand together to help with those in need with compassion that can
heal broken hearts and mend broken bridges.
I believe that people have the strength to carry on past the time of
war and violence and into the age of our peace.
I believe that together we are greater than the sum of our parts.
When I look into the eyes of another, I can see the goodness that we
share and the unbreakable bond of oneness and humanity.
This is what I see.
This is what I believe.
I am a man of peace.
