To everyone Jason paid me $500 to be his friend and support him! Also
Jason gave me some secrets that I'd love to share with this group about
some of his web operations. David you can sue the dick if only you
knew.
I can verify that I am indeed John M. Wolf. Give me your emaill and
ill show you a pictre of me in my diapers. diapers are my identity. i
need a babysitter as I am too incomptetent to do anything on my own.
Ask Bev. Yes I called and asked to get her fired from her job. I used
over 50 aliases. I gave out incorrect information on the
comp.sys.mac.system board. but i am jwolf and my favorite diapers are
ones that Barney wears.
FUCK YOPU JASON GASTRICH!!!!

This feces doesn't need to be cross-posted to a parenting website at the
least.
Just can't help telling you how annoying this crap is.
Try a little harder next time please - for everyone's sake, including your
own. Thanks
Have a nice day.

The person in question is simply trolling for responses. I'm reading
his post from comp.sys.mac.system, a group for discussing computer
operating systems.
I've actually done some reading on this kind of thing. People usually
do this kind of thing for one of two reasons:
1.) They're bored, and they're attempting to start vituperous
correspondence between other parties for their own enjoyment.
2.) They're insane, and unfortunately have access to a PC, which
allows them to let everyone else listen to their crazed rants.

Just for your information, this isn't a website. It's what's known as
USENET. The forum you're participating in is called a newsgroup, and
there is a way that you can ignore messages like this. The client you're
using, Outlook Express 6, should have filtering features that will allow
you to keep your software from seeing posts from specific addresses,
and the like. I'd be more than happy to tell you how, but alas, I don't
use Outlook Express, so I simply don't know the details on how you'd go
about doing so. In this case, documentation is your friend. :-) You should
be able to get information on how to do it in Outlook Express' help features.

Hey, you think this is bad? Just wait until school's out for summer. :-)

yeh, I meant to say "newsgroup".. ..and I now realize I allowed my response
to cross-post to some religious groups that probably don't care to witness
my own loss of patience. =)
yeh, I'm not sure how to killfile on OE yet.. ..tho I suspect it wouldn't
take too long to figure out.
Thanks for the refreshing tone of civility.. ..I appreciate it.
Outlook Express is a pretty poor newsreader (just as IE is a poor
browser), but you can block messages quite easily. Just click on
'Message' in the top toolbar, then, 'Block Sender'. Do yourself a favor,
download and install Netscape... :)
