When it comes to the treatment for candida, you have many options, you
can go with over the counter remedies, prescription remedies or all
natural remedies. What you choose is up to you, but I'm going to
show you a varied bunch of solutions from which you can try out
depending upon what you're more comfortable with:
1. Monistat
When it comes to treatment for candida, Monistat is one of the most
popular over the counter yeast infection medications available.
It comes in either a cream or a suppository and in 1 day, 3 day or 7
day treatment packages. From experience, I find the 7 day
package works the best and would only suggest you try that. The
only problem with this solution is it has the potential to aggravate
your already existing symptoms.
2. Diflucan
This is an oral medication you can get by visiting your doctor, it's
also known as "fluconazole". You can take this internally at a
dosage of 100-150mg. The issue with this treatment though is it
sometimes causes side effects like nausea, diarrhea, headache,
dizziness, skin rashes, vomiting and a few others.
3. Yogurt
Then there's the all popular natural solution which is yogurt.
This involves you picking up some sugar free yogurt, applying it to a
tampon and inserting it vaginally. The healthy bacteria found in
the yogurt work to fight off the overgrown yeast in your body.
This is better than the above as there are no adverse side effects to
using it.
However, if you really want a good treatment for candida, you are
going to need to look into one which gets to the root of the problem
which is the yeast spores. None of the above treatments do that
unfortunately and that's why you can get recurring yeast infections.
