The Randi-Curlry lawsuit became moot on 28 June, 1998, when Earl called
The Grim Reaper a "pedofile" not realizing that death, unlike Randi,
didn't have to go through a lengthy process of international litigation to
get to Earl.

(At the time, there were several totally unfounded runors that EGC had
committed suicide but, in view of Earl's age, irritability, and presumed
poor diet due to alcoholism,  I'd say a heart attack or stroke did him
in.)
