The pros and cons of humanity are weighed on a constant basis as it
lurches slowly towards its fate. All who are part of the human race
are judged as one. There are those who believe this to be unfair, but
ultimately it's not - who and what you are is predicated entirely upon
the entire history of your race and beyond. Your genes have been
shaped as part of your race, not as an individual. All human genes
come from the same pool of ancestors, there is little choice but to
view them all as one.
However, there is an "out" to all this. You own yourself, your genes,
and as a result, you own that which shall spring from your loins. To
cease being judged as part of the human race, you have but to declare
that you declare yourself - your genetic makeup - to be distinct from
the rest of the human race, and to be dedicated towards reaching for
something higher. That "something higher" can be any number of things
so long as it is something more than what humanity en masse is
striving towards, which is essentially nothing but chaos as they can't
seem to get organized to save their own existence.
Declare yourself for the purpose of creating balance and harmony in
the universe, and live with that as your primary drive. Declare
yourself for the purpose of discovering the fundamental truths of
existence regardless of how much they may disagree with your current
world beliefs, and use that purpose to sustain you through dark and
confusing times. Once you have strength enough after having tended to
your own needs in this regard, then declare yourself for the purpose
of helping any and all others who will accept your guidance in finding
their way to balance and harmony as well.
An honest pursuit of these things will yield the mindset and abstract
conditions (what some would call "spiritual conditions", but which is
somewhat more than merely that) necessary for you to avoid being
judged along with the rest of humanity. You will have taken on the
yolk of truth, and when truth is your burden, you cannot fail. You
will find your success no matter how many trials and tribulations you
may go through - the trials and tribulations are the fire of
existence, that which tempers you as you strive to become as
increasingly pure as you are able. An honest pursuit of these things
means being ready, willing and able to deny even the most cherished of
truths uttered by the most cherished of lips should you learn of
something - anything - which contradicts it. An honest pursuit of
truth is as I've said before - it means being willing to kill even
your own soul if you have to in order to not only discover it, but to
protect and advance it in the universe at large.
This is what many refer to as The Great Work. It is what all who have
acquired the ability to perceive the world in terms of symbols and
abstractions are charged with - it is the mission they must receive
and adapt as their own before they can possibly advance entirely
beyond their animalistic, chaotic origins. Truth. Fundamental truth.
Understand this which I say to you now, for it shall not be repeated
again: The fundamental truth of existence may well be that there -is-
no fundamental truth of existence. Even if that turns out to be the
truth, you must find this out for yourself, and you must - once you
have perceived enough to know it for certain - wholly embrace it.

Your species knows all that it needs to know to determine its own fate
as being either oblivion or with the rest of us among the stars. We
are now moving on to the philosophical phase of our mission. For those
who will inevitably lose interest at this point, fare you well and

continue on, lose yourself - lose your humanity and surrender to the
single, abiding fundamental truth, whatever that may turn out to be.
Let no man tell you he has it, for no man living ever can. Not fully.
Many will try to deceive you, and most will be ultimately deceived.
Staying true to the path of truth (or "righteousness") is not easy,
there are so many traps one tends to fall into along the way.
Sincerity in your seeking could not be more important to the success
of your mission.
