These five discs, averaging a little over an hour each, are designed
to complement Christopher’s latest book. They do not replace then
content of the book, they merely enhance it.
If you have ever heard Christopher speak, you know how comforting his
voice can be. His words seep effortlessly into your deep mind, where
they germinate and bring forth a crop of knowledge and wisdom.
His meditative induction technique is consistent with what he has done
before. If you have worked with a y of his previous CD sets you will,
undoubtedly, find yourself re-entering that state. If this is your
first experience with his meditations, you are in for truly moving,
pleasant experience.
Although large amounts of these discs are repetitive (after all, the
journeys into and out of the various destinations are identical), do
not make the mistake of thinking that this renders this boring or
useless. The very repetitiveness helps them in their effectiveness.
The more you work with the imagery contained in these meditations, the
more conditioned you become, and the easier it is to find your way to
your destination.
As often as I have experienced the basic meditation Christopher uses,
I often find unexpected details as I progress through it.
The first four CDs in this set take you through the signs of the
zodiac and introduce you to the various archetypal male energies of
each sign. The final CD is an initiation through the seven levels
(the chakras).
The gods know that I don’t always agree with Christopher, but while
listening to the final disc in the set, I found myself thrilling to
some of his invocations. This is an extremely powerful experience, if
you are willing to put in the time and effort to arrive here properly
prepared and experienced.
Is it for everyone? Not by any means. Is it effective? Very, and
you really can’t ask for more.
