I know this is not an ME Newsgroup but cant get help elsewhere- Can you help?
I want pass on an old Dell computer that has WinME installed., but would like to reformat the hard disk and then reinstall WinME.

problem with my printer

I have a relatively new printer HP photosmart 7960, and i have a huge problem with it.
It want print documents or pictures that i choose, but i just get a blank peace of paper. i thought that the printer is gone.but......
the level of ink is at its almost full,and when i start one of the programs from the printers software (clean the heads, centering the articles, see if all the colors are displayed coretly...and so on), it all WORKS.... more »

How do I change drive icons?

I purchased a 4GB Sandisk Blade flash drive and reformatted the drive -
I never use the associated encryption software (or anything else) that
comes with any flash drive.
For whatever reason, it seems that sandisk requires some of those files,
as the flash drive has it's own unique icon and without it, the drive... more »

It takes 5minutes to boot up my XP System to a settled condition; is there
anyway I can reduce this time?

Screen orientation in Windows XP

I was working in an app in Windows XP and pressed Alt Ctrl 174 on the numeric keypad. In that app it should have inserted a character, but instead it passed the command on to Windows, and it changed the screen orientation from landscape to portrait, so that now the screen appears sideways.... more »

I just checked my installed programs and found I have 7 programs installed for Microsoft Net Framework. There are at least four verso
1.0 Hotfix
1.1
2,0 Language Pack DEU
2.0 Service Pack 2
3.0 Service Pack 2
3.5 SP1
4 Clint Profile
4 Extended.
This seems excessive for supposedly one program. What can I remove?... more »

GetFLV will no longer download from HULU.
The program used to work, after a fashion, that is, but hasn't for
months. This fact has not stopped the company from continuing to sell
it.
They will not answer support e-mails. They will not return your money
after you buy it and find it doesn't work. They simply do not answer... more »
