How do I change drive icons?

I purchased a 4GB Sandisk Blade flash drive and reformatted the drive -
I never use the associated encryption software (or anything else) that
comes with any flash drive.
For whatever reason, it seems that sandisk requires some of those files,
as the flash drive has it's own unique icon and without it, the drive
icon reverts to the generic "unassociated file" icon in any presentation
of the available drives.
How I can change the icon of this flash drive? Can someone send me that
little file and instructions to properly apply it?
