Hi,

I'm running Windows XP with SP3, and last year's Sea Monkey. When I
download a program to my hard drive, a "Download Manager" appears
on-screen, listing old downloads plus the status of the current
download. When the current download has finished, I double click on it
to install it. The Download Manager then disappears. Sometimes, I wish
to view the Manager, but I cannot find it, even with a search of my hard
drive.

Can someone please tell me where it is hiding, and how I can view it.

Thanks a lot.

Try Ctrl+J - that's the key combo to bring it up in Mozilla Firefox.

You'd probably be better off asking in a Seamonkey forum such as
mozilla.support.seamonkey on the mozilla server. Your question isn't
about MS Windows.

You mean it's on the menu?? That means the guy didn't even bother to
look in the most obvious place!

Oy vey.

Hi,

Oy vey iz mir. I did a search for "Download Manager" on my hard drive
and came up with nothing helpful. That is why I was wondering where it
was hiding. I should have looked further, but at age 83 new ideas are
hard to come by.

Thanks to all the respondents.

If I could have helped you I would have done.
There used to be a time when people would offer help without trying to take
the piss.
24hoursupportdesk was one, now its been overrun by the stupid American
fuckpigs.

Hi,

Ignoring your imprudent and uncalled for language, I must agree that
online help lately has often come with a large dose of vitriol, which is
entirely uncalled for. Not all of us are computer hotshots; that is why
we sometimes need help. I have an advanced degree, speak some 6
languages, and have various talents in several fields. However, Windows
is not one of my talents, and I occasionally need help. What is obvious
to one of you may be entirely murky or invisible to me. If you cannot
politely give advice, then perhaps you should keep your typing hands in
your pockets.

You think that what you got was "vitriol"?? How can you have survived
this long with such thin skin?

You don't need to be a "computer hotshot" to know that nearly all
program functions and options are available on the menus. What else do
you think they're for? Sounds like it's time for you to spend some time
taking a tour of the menus of all programs you use very often. I think
you'll find that they do things you never thought possible.

24hoursupport.helpdesk may eventually give you your answer.
If you have it on your server.
But, there are some big nasty men there and you could get all upset again
and finish up in a tizzy.
Are you gay?
