I want all explorer windows sorted by type. I almost never do
anything else. And when I'm viewing a folder in detail views, I don't
need to see the type column, but I still want the folder sorted by
type. But for some fucked up reason, if type isn't there, it sorts on
something else.

Plus, the damn folders don't remember what columns I want, when I
switch back and forth between detail and list views. It puts back the
year and track number columns. If I'm viewing music mp3's, I don't
give a fuck what year the song or mp3 was made in, and if it's not
songs, there's no track number.

Detail views were perfect in Windows 95. Why the hell were they
broken, and why the fuck have they not been fixed?

And the piece of shit media player keeps creating a couple of jpgs -
folder and album, I believe - whenever I drag a file into the media
player. But it's a mixed folder; all the podcasts currently on my mp3
player.

Since all your bitching just shows how incompetent YOU are, I corrected the
Subject line.
No need to thank me.

I call them NECROSMURF. I was a big fan of MSDOS 3.0,back when
they had things like multiplan, and they were still combatting
IBM-compatibility with MSDOS-Generic stuff. I joke that the OS/2
disaster led to MS being BODYSNATCHED by IBM, from which on IBM never
recovered. I mean Windows crashes like an IBM mainframe. I would never
use Windows if I had USB and CD burning and TCPIP access and a
non-graphic JAVA on MSDOS. I got really screwed by the IOMEGA Zipdrive
Click-Of-Death.

The only possible reason that you didn't get your fucking lame arse
laughed into the next Kingdom Come is that aow-xp has gone completely to
the dogs. I claim rights to that eventuality, btw,

Nevertheless look on the bright side. You will never know when one of my
prodigies replies to you, except when they bury the machete deep into
your soul and turn it with much glee. Alas, even then you are too
fuckwitted to admit it ever took place.
