Newbie using Ubuntu 6.10. I have this great slide show software ProShow
Gold by Photodex. It's a Windows program but want to use it Ubuntu. I
understand some Window programs can be run by using Wine. Anyone tried
it using Wine?

Here is the list of known applications that work with wine

however there are certainly other apps that work with wine but have not
been added to the list (continually growing).
