I have gcc install with this fedora 16 and tried man fread and get no manpages. Also grub seems to be different. I want to change the defaults to boot my windows by default.

Well I guess I don't have a grub man page. Or info pages. Commands like 'help' 'root' and so on don't work at all with grub. I have no idea what to type in the CLI.

It's not Bash's, it's "command line" printf(1), which is indeed
