JOB TITLE: TEST ENGINEER
SUMMARY/SCOPE OF POSITION:
In accordance with sound and acceptable engineering principles, develops system tests, software and methods for use in the testing of manufactured products. Receives assignments from department manager or technical lead.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Performs integration of complex control systems to test hardware and software.
2. Develops design documentation and test procedures for the test designs.
Leadership
1. Projects require self-direction and ability to adjust to changes in priority and scope. A dynamic team oriented organization, which demands a sense of urgency, customer focus, and process improvement.
Interpersonal
1. Good communications skills, influence capabilities, and an ability to work within a cross-functional team environment to achieve position objectives. Projects involve the interaction between departments including Design Engineering, Operations, and Quality.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelors degree in electronics or electrical engineering, or computer science.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Logix/Netlinx Control System application.
2. Demonstrated ability to implement control systems based on system design documentation
3. Familiarity with Rockwell Automation products
