ASUS vivobook s200e no microphone

Hi All!
I'm trying to get the internal microphone to work on an ASUS vivobook
S200e using OpenSUSE 12.3_x86_64 and KDE. I can not record any sounds
nor does it work in Skype. So far google has not been my friend and I
only found this link on the web which was unanswered (for ubuntu)

Pavucontrol recognizes the microphone and does record a crackling sound
when I try to test the mic.
Any help would be appreciated!

I have the same problem! Microphone doesn't work for Skype calls. Please help
