Problem with Java on 12.3

On a system where I installed openSUSE 12.3 GNU gcj is installed
instead of openJDK-devel. Why the change?
More problematic is that it does not work. When I try to compile a
'Hello world' example, I get:
/usr/lib/gcc/i586-suse-linux/4.7/../../../crt1.o: In function `_start':
/home/abuild/rpmbuild/BUILD/glibc-2.15/csu/../sysdeps/i386/elf/start.S:115:
undefined reference to `main'
collect2: error: ld returned 1 exit status
When I uninstall gcj and install openJDK-devel there is no problem.

Compared to gcj and openJDK, what else.
But you might be braindead stupid in English and still would not
understand. Move your head up and down if yes.

Not ready for prime time.
Get the rpm from java.oracle.com.
Side note: Even Oracle Linux (Red Hat clone) comes with Iced Tea.
To run an Oracle application server there you have to replace it with
Oracle/Sun Java or JRockit. Maybe IBM will work as well.
