I have 10.3 running with KDE, compiz-fusion. For the first time in ages
the install got my nVidia FX5700 and 19" monitor right in 1280x1024 @ 85Hz
so all seemed well but now when it tries 1024x768 it just gives a blank
screen. I have copy/pasted xorg.conf from 10.2 still working on same PC
for the monitor lines. (It used to put in loads of mode lines that just
were not right so they're dumped.)

Is it compiz that's causing the hassle, it's running in nVidia/xorg mode
rather than xgl? bzflag just runs with flashing screen but other programs
are fine unless they want to use 1024x768.

Ideas?

I used the one that installs via the compiz manager.
