Seems to "just work" for me (on a laptop running Slackware-10.2).
I've been using that for the past year or so to help me keep track of
wireless service where I work. That is to say that the laptop runs
with a wireless connection, and plays Sirius all day. If it drops off,
I have an indication there may be a problem with the wireless networking
service (at least in the corner where I work) and I'm on it before anyone
else notices.
I use Firefox to get to the Sirius web site, and it spawns Xine for the
radio feed. My only complaint is that they don't have HNIC radio on
their internet stream ...
