Is anyone else experiencing segfaults from xpdf-3.02pl3 when turning to
page 2 of the SlackBook? Just checking before alerting the devs...

Further findings: this happens if zooming by more than 125% before
turning the page.

It's not specific to slackbook... I have a pdf (created by pdflatex,
texlive distribution) it chokes on as well. I think it has been behaving
like that ever since 12.0, although I'm not sure.

That's interesting. I found that the problem isn't specific to 3.02pl3
either, as I've tried to compile Xpdf without applying the patches (thus
obtaining regular 3.02) but the segfaults were still there.

So far, the issue does seem to be Slackware-related though, as I've
heard from a Ubuntu user who's not getting any crashes from the
Xpdf-3.02 + SlackBook combo.

After every Xpdf crash, a line appears in dmesg saying:

| xpdf [...] error 4 in libX11.so.6.2.0[b7b5b000+e3000]

so I wonder if the culprit isn't the libX11 that comes with SW.

Different address, but yes, same here.
