Hi,

I'm trying to compile jackd, but when I run configure it tells me that
jackd will be build without alsa support.

Debian Etch, very basic install from net-install CD.
libasound-dev is installed.

Any idea what might be wrong?

When I configure the same package on my Ubuntu box, alsa support is
included, so I guess I'm missing some header files on my Debian box...

Already did that, to no avail...

Or I could just use jack from the cli ;-)

Alsa of course.
