16/32bit with Windows XP x64

I understand that the 16bit FreeDos is more reliable than the current
32bit, but it can't be loaded in a separate 16bit partition with
Windows XP x64 on the other harddrive. Should I just create a 32bit
partition of 2G and wait for the upcoming 32bit version of FreeDos?
