Just wondering if anyone had any success storys about running BeOS on their laptop.

Yep, IBM Thinkpad 390E, pretty old already.

Have owned a number of Dells, have always works, except some models
did not support sound, otherwise no problems.

You can always "test" a laptop by putting the Personal Edition on it
before trying a regular install.

I don't know if this counts but for old time's sake I am running Haiku
on a MacBook Pro under VMWare. It's only really a reminder of the old
days so just for fun and I can live with the limitations such as being
unable to add apps etc.
