Just sharing my story with everyone how I managed to cure my panic
attack. I've been a suffering since my early 20s (I'm in my 40s now),
and it has been extremely discomforting to suffer from frequent bouts
of panic attack. Even more so since my job requires me to give
presentations once in a while.
I wrote my full story on my blog at http://www.cureyourpanicattacks.org
but in summary, here are the 3 methods I used to cure my panic attack
in a short period of time:
Laugh out loud
As funny as it may sound (no pun intended!), when you laugh, its
almost impossible to feel depressed. Of course this takes effort and
focus, but whenever you feel an onset of panic, quickly switch your
thoughts to happy or funny incidents and try to recall how it felt
back then. Picture yourself in the situation and just laugh it out.
Eventually you will feel that panic slowly subside
Drink more water
For some reason, drinking water calms you down, and works like those
IV drips in hospitals.
Watch funny stuff
If you are on your computer when you feel a panic attack coming, just
head over to Youtube and check out funny video clips. It’s hard to
feel panicky when you are laughing your head off.
These are some tested and proven techniques that I have used to
successfully cure panic attacks whenever they approach. However, these
are just short-term measures, and does not eliminate the REAL reason
why you are having a panic attack. Often the real reason why you are
having a panic attack can be rooted out and eliminated, if you know
how.
My blog (http://www.cureyourpanicattacks.org) contains more info on
how to cure panic attacks naturally, so if you are interested go ahead
and check it out! Nowadays I no longer fear speaking out in public,
and it has helped me greatly in my work and life.
Thanks,
Marie
