Yes, the USA and Canada...and Britain shouldn't exist and are
functions of genocide of indigenous peoples. That is of course a
dangerous thing to say and to be behaving thus even more so - all the
more dangerous in this era of almost compulsary anti 'terrorist'
driven patriotism - that is the way the government would want it
anyway, and the fascist media etc. Here in Britain, the government and
Gordon Brown the prime minister keeps hammering home the point of the
need for security and anti terror measures, such as the 42 day
detention without charge law recently passed...that David Davis the
opposition Home Secretary resigned from parliament about in order to
force a by-election in his constituancy. The very very last thing even
Davis the Tory, or especially him, would really want to admit is that
Britain is a construct of screaming ritual child rape. Sorry Donna.
What a thought eh! I can see why you don't believe me. Its an
outlandish theory. What if its true eh?! My god. The second to last
thing they don't want to admit to is that the Iraq debarcle is the
result of an illegal war of aggression or nor that the subsequent rise
of Al Qa'ida faction in Iraq and the UK is due to their illegal
genocidal acts. Imagine if the Europeans had been able to manage in
their own territory - and not to have expanded around the world...i.e.
not to have developed an expansionist society and creed...and that all
the native cultures of Africa, America, the East had been left
intact.
...you wouldn't exist Donna!
> ...you wouldn't exist Donna!
Sure i would. Don't they have hillbillies in the UK? I'd be living
right next door to you, seeing as how i'm not opposed to eating
squirrel meat.
But now that i've dangled my legs off the edge of the grand canyon,
shared a sandwich with a guard at the empty Rodin museum, taken the
subway in Philadelphia, hitch-hiked from Phoenix to LA, outrun a
tornado in Wyoming, another one in Missouri, and one in South Dakota,
lived through several west coast earthquakes, travelled through
Yellowstone Park during the great fire of '88, been chased by a
'shark' off the coast of Corpus Christi, sat in a New Orleans biker
bar at 2am while my then-drunk husband slept face-down in a batch of
blueberry pancakes (no need to tell the one about Trixie the
transvestite stripper), nearly drowned in the Pacific Ocean, got sick
from the water in Iowa, and several other things that naturally endear
me to this country, i'll probably just stay here - aka *home* - where
all my memories are alive and well.
It's safer for both of us - not to mention your squirrels.
Apparently you know much more about Canadian authorities than i do
living right across the border. But it does sound like they're just as
bad as some here. I used to think Canada was pretty laid back (police-
wise), but i guess not.
It's never good when you hear that someone was beaten, then "taken to
an undisclosed location".
I know little about Canadian or USA border guards Donna - although I'm
more aware now.
...but you've never been out of the USA or North America Donna, which
is a shame I think. Travel broadens the mind, and shows a wider
perspective of reality....and they're 'your' squirrels by the way.
I've been all over N. America, and still haven't seen all there is to
see. But to be totally candid, when i was a girl there was not a
single place on the planet that i did *not* want to visit or people i
didn't want to meet.
But that's not what life wanted from me. Life wanted me to be a
traveller in *this* land regardless of anything i wanted for myself -
from Day One of being born - and that's exactly what happened. Seeing
the amazing things (and people) i've seen right here, i have no
regrets, and no longer have any desire to leave this land - ever - not
even to 'visit'. North America is as good as it gets, whether times
are hard or easy. So as it turns out, my perspective of 'reality' is
that home is not where you hang your hat, but where you keep your
heart. I'm not a european and never will be, but i *am* an american
because here is where i keep my heart.
Do you really think my mind needs to be *broadened* to encompass the
entire world? :)
> ...and they're 'your' squirrels by the way.
Well... 'Jim'... they probably got tired of being told to go back to
europe. Now you have to deal with them *as if* they are your own.
