A Question:
I have the Comcast Triple play package, and the Cable Box with my
Hi_Def TV will only record 2 programs at one time, and when recording
2, I cannot view other channels. I heard about the cable boxes they
have that will record 4 programs and you can still watch other

I've been told that if I turned off my comcast cable modem for a
certain amount of time that my IP number would change?
Is this true? If so, for how long must it be off?
Would I have to set it up all over again if I did this?

Triplett guilty of murder

I meant to post this last week.
Anthony Triplett, a Comcast contract technician, raped and murdered two
women while on service calls. He was convicted of murder of the second
woman on May 13. He hasn't gone to trial on the first murder.

Finally talked Mrs. Frank into having home phone ported over from Verizon to Comcast.
Our one year triple play offer expired and this was brought in as part of the renegotiation. We had just ignored their phone for most of the year except for her making long distance calls.

Honest to gawd, Comcasts current teevee ad campaign is a sure sign of
desperation. They must be getting their brains beaten in where Verizon has
infrastructure. I don't know that it's necessarily indicative, but in my

CHICAGO, April 16, 2013—Last week, Bob Goodlatte (R-Va.) and other lawmakers introduced legislation in the House of Representatives calling for major changes in the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS). The RFS is the reason why most US automobile fuel contains ten percent ethanol. We were offered a package which includes Showtime for 1 yr. Didn't really want it, but the sales rep said we'd be able to view all seasons of Showtime series like Dexter, Nurse Jackie, etc. Well that appealed to me so we took the package.

Varying TV volume with service?

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone else experiences significant volume
variations while watching on-demaind and sometimes DVD playback?
regular programming seems to be OK.
I'm talking about the actual program broadcast, not the annoying
advertisements (they're always too loud).
