SAME AS IT EVER WAS
The Academic Zodiac system is nothing new as it existed from the
beginning. As our perception improved, we were able to observe the
planets. As our technology improved, we were able to determine the
zodiac.
TOY ZODIACS
Most primitive systems can be still valid as bracketed by
superstition, perhaps in keeping things going for those who are not
ready to be unplugged; still, six signs of zodiacal error are enough
to crush one's life when one has to depend on such an superannuated
systems. Obsolete zodiacs will persist in default minds. For now, the
Academic Zodiac operators are mostly RTRRT initiates.
CAPRICORN
Two to six signs of zodiacal error are enough to kill anyone that
depends on e.g. tropical astrology for one's operations. In terms of
surgery, one would have the wrong organ cut out. In nautical term, one
would miss quarter a sky. The errors as offered by the astrology for
the masses are too generous to enlist. The lush list of the most
asinine features of tropical astrology begins with a standard two sign
offset. Children born with a Virgo Sun are forced into an absurd
“Scorpio” frame. People born with Pisces rising are being
told that they have “Capricorn” rising at east, as if such
a thing was possible.
CAPRICORNVS
The 22 zodiacal constellations along with the 16 ascendants for the
current epoch are a matter of naked eye observation. Take an
“astrologer”, sit him down on a chair facing east and tell
him to point at “Capricorn” rising. There are people who
call themselves astrologers but have no idea of the sky they pretend
to preach. Their idea of your natal skies are monstrously asinine,
sinister and dangerous. Even if an “astrologer” would know
how to spot Capricornus, he would not see it rising over the eastern
horizon.
16 NON-RISING ASCENDANTS FOR THE CURRENT EPOCH
The ascendant set is always measured at due east. There are 16
ascendants rising at east for the present epoch. The ascendant set was
measured for different epochs as well, as published along with the
appropriate results{i}. In summing up, there are 88 ascendants in a
precession cycle. At the present epoch, the following zodiacal
constellations do not rise at east: Scutum, Sagittarius, Capricornus,
Pegasus, Aries, Auriga, Gemini, Cancer, Crater, Corvus and Libra. Note
that ex zodiacal constellation, Serpens, is a P-zodiacal station, and
thus workable ascendant in some cases such as for Italy and the USA.
Surely at any epoch, non-zodiacal constellations can rise at east.
Also, the local and planetary zodiacs feature separate ascendant sets
along with appropriate studies. Taurus is rising only for five minutes
at east in a daily cycle. In the next cycle, Venus will rise in
Pegasus at east, thus announcing the new �on. This, in short, is the
basic information and more or less all that an incipient astrology fan
has to know about the ascendant. Of course, the hopefully not too
large body of nonsensical literature will lead to blunder, but only a
very uneducated illiterate will of course believe in the 12/12
nonsense as perhaps predicated by people who may even sincerely
consider themselves and even others as “astrologers”.
