CLEARING THE AIR ...
<
Atheists and evolutionists are in the same boat, trying the row
upstream without a paddle.
<
Their paddle would be the undisputed physical evidence denying the
existence of a Supreme Bean (or a family of Supreme Beings, as I
mentioned in a recent posting).
<
On the other hand, although Creationists believe in a Supreme Being,
they have most of it wrong as well.
<
God, for example, has forgiven us for all our so-called "sins" even
before we do them.
<
The real judges in The Afterlife are your contemporaries in this one.
They could be members of your own family, people whom you
thought were your friends, anyone with whom you had close
relationships during your existence on earth.
<
On The Other Side, they will be aware of the screwing you gave
them -- nothing is hidden -- and you will pay the price of being
ostracized, of being unwanted,
<
"They're the judges, not God," said Fellin. "And the worst punishment
of all is being blackballed by a member of your own family. They want
absolutely nothing to do with you on The Other Side,"
<
To be denied the company of certain family members -- maybe all
of them -- will be, as David Fellin told me, a punishment worse
han burning forever in hell (which is a monumental myth).

<
Religion, in the vast majority of cases, actually amounts to fear
tactics
and our Creator never wanted it that way.
<
All He ever wanted was that his sons and daughters to treat
everyone the way they themselves want to be treated -- to play by the
Golden Rule.
<
Dave Fellin knows because he has testified he was in God's company
while entombed underground for 14 days following a cave-in at an
anthracite mine near Sheppton. Pa., in 1963 and often refreed to Him
as "The Man Whose Face I Couldn't See," because His face was shrouded
in darkness.
<
Most impressive was David Fellin's descripton of God as being a
loving, caring Father.
<
"I called him Pop," Fellin revealed. "I found Him to be as
wonderful as my own father whom I loved very, very much."

Ahem, I hate to ask this, but which version of
"the golden rule" are you discussing?

http://www.religioustolerance.org/reciproc.htm

There are nuances to consider, after all.

Modern Geeks vs. Modern Greeks, not that the terms are always mutually
exclusive. Every ethnicity has its share of Geekdom.

You're right; after all, what would it all mean, without the niceties
of nuance?
