Clearly, the mother either has serious mental problems or is just
plain mercenary.
However, someone pointed out that the girl COULD be telling the truth
about "not meeting" any boys. That is, someone could have slipped her
a roofie when her back was turned, so she may not have realized that
anything had happened.

that's a plot right out of a soap opera.

member?
