I got a kick out of reading a recent update from Jim Beaver's FB. He said
he had just received the funniest friend request EVER ... something to the
effect of " thank you for being my friend .... I promise you, I'm not a
stalker type ... and by the way, you're out of milk ..."

Not if you wait and let her decline on you. She's probably inclined to
anyway, 1) because she sees plenty of you as it is and 2) Facebook is one of
her places to get away from you.

(my SWMBO is on there - I'm not, and she's not pushing me to get it, even
though she's always in the hunt for additional Farmville neighbors - even
going so far as tagging her boss in r/l for one...)

Relax, it's just because you know a lot of the same people. Now, if your
wife asks you to Friend her, then you've got a problem. But trust me, she
don't want to be Friends with you any more than you want to be Friends with
her.

You can hide the Farmville posts like I have and many others as well.
The people themselves aren't blocked; just the related posts.
