Less than two weeks after Paul Picerni. Man, I loved his portrayal of Frank
Nitti: Jabbing his finger, "You're dead, Ness."
I also remember him from a zillion westerns ... or thereabout ...
One of the first mostly-TV actors I paid attention to, as a child.
He seemed to be on *everything* -- especially the great anthology
series.
Why can't we have anthology series anymore?
Kris
I wonder the same thing.
Why can't we have live drama on TV anymore either?
How about original made for TV movies like ABC did in the 70's, and
not movies based on Danielle Steel books or "based on the shocking
true story" movies. I would love to see these make a comeback.
The truth is, it is much cheaper to do reality shows and infotainment
type shows than to do something original or different. It's sad that
so many people eat this stuff up. At first I thought Reality TV would
be a fad for a couple years, but it's clear they are not going away.
Watching Cops is about as close as I will get to reality TV.
