LOS ANGELES — Adult performer Hunter Bryce has passed away, her agent confirmed
Wednesday.
"I got the call about 3 a.m.," Type 9 Models owner Kevin told XBIZ.
The cause of Bryce's death is not known, but she was found dead at her home in
the Winnetka area of the San Fernando Valley early Wednesday, her agent said.
Born Kathryn Sue Johnston, she was 30 years old.
"I know that she went to sleep and did not wake up," Kevin said. "I notified her
mother of this about an hour ago. Her mother had been trying to reach her."
L.A. County coroner Ed Winter said he will be conducting an autopsy, but there
were "no obvious signs of trauma."
"We will look into everything, but we won’t release any preliminary information
at this point," Winter said, adding that it looked like it was "a natural
death."
Performer Rachel Roxxx, Bryce's good friend for the past two years, said that
she also received a call about Bryce early this morning and immediately drove to
Bryce's home, helping the coroner with information for Bryce's family. Bryce
lived with roommates who are not in the adult industry.
"She was a wonderful woman, had a heart of gold," Roxxx said. "I will miss her
dearly."
Roxxx told XBIZ she last spoke to Bryce a few days ago and that Bryce told her
she was not feeling well.

LOS ANGLES—Performer Hunter Bryce was discovered dead at her home last night,
AVN has confirmed. She was 30 years old.
The cause of her death is unknown at this point, but agent Kevin Kline of Type 9
Models, which represented her up until a few months ago, told AVN, "I got a call
about 3 a.m. this morning from a girl, and she went over to her place and found
her."
News broke of Bryce's passing by way of a tweet Wednesday morning from male
performer Tucker Slain, which read that Bryce "was not doing well personally,"
and that "her roommate told me she was found dead this morning."
Bryce was represented most recently by OC Modeling, whose Heather McCarthy
commented, "It just came suddenly. We were trying to get a hold of her for a
while, and she kind of just went MIA for a little."
Hunter was a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh, her hometown, where she
completed a double major in non-fiction writing and literature. Her stage name
was in part a nod to her favorite author, gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson.

Do you have prove that Hunter was exploited. She was over the age of 18 and legal age to consent to any contract. If Hunter chose or was forced in the Adult Industry by greed of money or desperation of money. That was her choice and not any of your business how this woman lived.
Anyone can leave the industry and many more willing participants will replace her in a minute. There are no shortage of women wanting to try the adult industry. I do not judge people's choice in life since it is there own.

Hunter had no problem with cashing the money that her Fans sent her way. If her fans did not like her. Guess what, she would not have gotten paid and would be forced out of the industry.
