Mussolini's brain 'up for sale on eBay'
07:43 AEST Sat Nov 21 2009
Italian dictator Benito Mussolini's blood and brain went on sale for
15,000 euros ($A24,343) on online auction website eBay before the
company pulled the ad posted by an anonymous seller.
"No bid was made during the brief time the advert was visible," eBay
said on its website on Friday, explaining the removal on the grounds
that the company did not authorise sales of human matter.
"It's a disgrace trying to sell my grandfather's brain and blood,"
Alessandra Mussolini, the neo-fascist granddaughter of Il Duce, told Sky
TG24 television.
She said the remains of her grandfather, who was hanged by partisans at
the end of World War II, were normally kept in a Milan hospital. The
television station said the hospital denied the claim.

A bargain. But I'd rather have JFK's autograph ...

Better you go see another doctor for help, and not the one now
treating you.

Can you picture being at a party and this guy shows up with this jar and
... time to go home.

Or time to stop dropping acid.

ANALOG is now dead--regardless of what some people on this ng claimed.
ILLEGAL to broadcast in ANALOG format, regardless of what some people on
this ng brazenly claimed was the case.

That's not my problem.
Take it up with CNN.

All hail CNN or CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX, etc., for always telling it like it
is and the whole truth and nothing but the truth! <sarcasm>
I figured there were some limited exemptions (temporarily only) for
low-power stations compared to full-power but that distinction wasn't
reported in the original article.
It is now--sort of, and only in its headline directly and indirectly in
the body, in mentioning the 971 full-power stations that have now switched
to only digital transmission.
Therefore, I was actually correct in saying 'analog is dead', except
for the very few low-power stations given a temporary reprieve.
>As others have informed you, and as I have just proven (as I'm sure
>others have done before me), A, you're wrong again. We can't win 'em
>all, chum. Thanks for playing!
Nope, I was right, at least to the 97% of the stations possible, and
100% of the full-power stations that most people in the U.S. usually tune!
I have no control over the FCC's allowing a TEMPORARY ONLY reprieve for
those very few low-power stations that aren't seen by many people anyway.
Those stations will either be 'executed' or forced to switch to
all-digital transmission in the time the FCC gives to them.

Nothing new here. "They Saved Hitler's Brain":
http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0265870/
Believe it or not, a remake is due out in 2011.
LOL!
