So it's an ongoing thing. The couple that wanted to call their baby son
'4real' but were not allowed, have now decided they'll call him 'Superman'
instead LOL...got to love it.

Not that I've heard of this happening lately, but this reminds me of a
few odd occasions when I was a kid when the Catholic parish pastor
would refuse to allow a baby to be baptized with the name chosen by the
parents, most often because it wasn't a saint's name. The only example
of this I can remember is the name David, which of course *is* a
saint's name, but we're talking wacko here.

These parents are idiots if they really intend to give their child a
name like "4real" or "Superman." Don't they know the trouble such a
name would cause the child once he gets into school? Once he grows
up?

This sounds very much like a hoax--something concocted by people who
have absolutely nothing else to do.

It could've been a lot worse. They could've named him Wil!

It's not a hoax magnus....kiwis just tend to think outside the square...and
yep naming a child is one of the most important things a parent can do...i
think both are stupid names myself but i guess it's just a standpoint they
want.

Upon receiving news that Apairateef had made the remarks below, and after
consultations with my Joint Chiefs of Staff, being briefed by members of my
Cabinet and many telephone conversations with various World Leaders, I have
come to the following conclusions:

But, but can they actually *prove* he's Superman? He's impervious to pain,
you know......
