WOLFE--Glenn P., novelist, died June 23, 2007, in his
home in Bethesda, MD, of lung cancer, on the eve of his 81st
birthday. Wisconsin born and raised, he served in the USMC
1943-1946, received his B.A. from USC, M.A. from Columbia,
and started his writing career in radio and television,
notably the Perry Mason Series. In 1962 he left Los Angeles
for Europe, where he met his Danish wife, Neter, 44 years
ago and still madly in love. After his return to the US, he
has been writing novels, film, drama and comedy. Glenn will
be deeply mourned and missed by all for his loving
gentleness, enthusiasm, sharp intellect and devastating wit.
Love you always, nothing will ever be the same.
Published in the New York Times on 7/1/2007.
