Most "ghost stories" are rather frightening. But some are wonderful
beyond imagination -- and this indeed
is one of them.

It proves, beyond all reasonable doubt, that there IS life after
death, that our frail bodies DO turn into dust but that our spirit
NEVER dies.
<
What you are about to read began innocently enough when I had the
great pleasure of meeting Dave Fellin at the wake of a mutual friend.
We sat down and chatted in the funeral parlor and I was astounded by
his total recall of the mine accident, the 14 days of
entombment with fellow miner Hank Throne at his side, and then the
miraculous rescue.

I asked Mr. Fellin why he had not revealed much of what he was telling
me -- especially the appearance of Pope John XXIII, who had died 10
weeks before the cave-in -- and he simply explained that no one would
believe him and most would say that he had lost
his mind.

But I believed every word and, on virtually a daily basis for at least
two hours a day for the next five years, we would sit in a restaurant
sipping coffee and he would tell and retell almost everything that
occurred of both a physical and supernatural nature inside the mine.
<
One of our highlights was an invitation to pay a visit to the home of
Elisabeth Kubler-Ross, a medical doctor and psychiatrist, who spent
almost a full day listening to Dave's story, then announcing that
everything he said was true. The author of several pioneering
prize-winning books on death and dying even had the courtesy of
stating her opinion in a letter, bearing her signature.

So-called experts in the scientific community, however, wouldn't touch
this story with a 12-foot pole. Unfortunately, the so-called"big
names" who think they know it all about the hereafter really have
experienced only the tip of the iceberg.
<
You see, there is a a lot more to this story than first meets the eye.

I humbly state that, thanks to Mr. Fellin, I can answer questions like
"Who judges you when you die (that is, when you enter the
hereafter)," "How do you know you're in 'heaven"? and "Is there a
place called hell where "wicked' souls are burning for all eternity?)
<
The answer to the last question: Absolutely not!

May I emphatically state that what you are about to read is the truth,
the whole truth and nothing but the truth, so help me God.I would be
the greatest of fools
if I tried to deceive you.

Besides, if this was a con job, God -- whom Dave Fellin met and always
called Pop -- might decide to have some fun and frighten me with a few
close-call lightning strikes.
