Olga Kaljakin

KALJAKIN, Olga Born Nov. 8, 1950, passed away suddenly on Oct. 6, 2008
after a courageous struggle with emphysema.

She is survived by her mother, Maria Kaljakin; her children, Tania
Kaljakin Hernandez and Alexander Aquino Kaljakin; sister, Tania Rizzo
(Michael and Christina); extended family, Albert Aquino (Tammy and
Mathieu) and Peggie (Dylan) Bennett, aunts, uncle, cousins; and
innumerable friends and colleagues.

Olga was blessed with an artistic talent that she developed into a
distinguished career in advertising with Petersen Publishing,
Seininger Advertising, Aspect Ratio and Crew Creative, as graphic
designer and art director, winning many awards and widespread
recognition in the motion picture advertising field.

She designed the posters for Moonstruck, Field of Dreams, The
Untouchables, The Last Samurai and countless other popular films of
the last 25 years.

Her goodness and generosity graced the lives of all who knew her. She
was a selfless and loving mother, a devoted daughter, affectionate
sister and cherished friend. She will be forever loved and missed.

A memorial service was held on Oct. 8th in the chapel at Hollywood
Forever Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, financial assistance to Olga's
children will be greatly appreciated in this difficult time.
