Judith (Judy) George, a busy '50s and '60s TV writer in collaboration
with her husband George W. George, died on December 31. Together the
Georges wrote episodes of Bonanza, Combat, The Real McCoys, Adventures
in Paradise, and The Rifleman.

Paid death notice from the LA Times:

GEORGE , Judith Ross
(74), December 31, 2006, of lung cancer. She was a warm and witty woman
who was so gallant in death.
Survived by her husband of fifty years, George W. George; daughter,
Jennifer; grandchildren, Max and Emily; stepchildren, Linda Tai, Laurie
and Larry George and step-grandson, Giampaolo Tai.
Judy was smart, funny and irreverent. Her laugh at a crowded dinner
table remains in our ears.
Service 11:30 a.m., Friday, January 5th, Frank E. Campbell Funeral Home
at 1076 Madison Avenue, New York, NY.
In lieu of flowers, please send contributions to Lung Cancer Foundation
or Parkinson's Foundation.
