The USA suffers yet another defeat. The Olympic committee did the
right thing by choosing a site other than the USA for the Olympics.
The USA got the fewest votes of any country and was eliminated in the
first round of voting.

This is good for Chicago. Last time they held an Olympics in the USA
(Atlanta), there was a terrorist bombing. The security in the USA
were bad in letting the bombing occur, then they arrested an innocent
man and the libelous/slanderous USA media claimed the innocent man was
the bomber. Perhaps the committee remembered the Atlanta SNAFU and
knew to avoid another USA site because of terrorism.

Chicago also has a bad reputation for crime. Do a search on "Chicago
honor student beaten" to see a nasty story about violent mob behavior
in Chicago. Most of Rio is a hideous slum, but conditions there are
still better than many parts of the Chicago area.

<BzzzzzzzzzT!> Wrong answer, you drunken homo. ;)

You never cease to provide me with comic relief, Polio. The month of
Feb. 2002 in Salt Lake City ring a bell for you?

LOL.

You beat me to it! Well done to Brazil. I'm very tempted to go myself.

Nahh, the reason they (the US) was eliminated is because they're all drug
cheats.
(Wait for the "prove it" responses)

Sarah, we all know yanks are cheats, specifically drug and physical
enhancement
cheats. You can yell "prove it" until you're blue or purple or whatever
colour
you druggies turn, but you will only be proving my point to the world at
large.

Get real Sarah, the World at large doesn't have any idea at all who I am.
OTOH they recognise that people like Flo-Joe, that Tour d'France cyclist
and Phelps are/were all on enhancement drugs.

People recognize nothing of the sort, groggy. See how your lies get

I was refering to _real_ people, Sarah, not those obese imitations that
reside in the USa.

Or perhaps you mean the IOC? Why have *they* not acted and stripped
*Flo-Jo" and *Phelps* of their World and Olympic records and Gold
medals if they were druggy cheats?

The answer is real people recognize a BS'er like you when they see
one, and give them the attention they deserve.

Simple, your cheats managed to evade drug discovery in the tests.

Flo-Joe died of symptoms which match those that can be expected of
performance enhancing drugs.
There's nothing false about the premise.
If there were any lies you could show them to be so, but instead you just
throw
unfounded insults at me - the first action of every bully and blaggard!

BTW any word from Chris and Phuxey?

You started this discussion with a whine about people who demand
cites. The historical fact is not one instance of any drug use has
ever been found in any one of the three athletes you mentioned.
That's the proof in and of itself which shoots down your wild claims
and lies.

Nothing from Chris. I suspect Nicky might still be in touch with him.
Nick and Phuxie are posting on az.general [ Seth more so than Nicky]
if you want to *PING* them over there.

Right, lots of top level atheletes suffer from epilepsy.
<sarcasm>
That's an excellent indicator of physical enhancement drug abuse.

Life isn't the same without those three - at least we still have Larry the
Frog!
